Rob Charlton is a hugely experienced facilitator having worked with teams across the UK and Europe. He was formerly a Principal Consultant with The Myers Briggs Company and delivers their certification training in the MBTI®. He brings an engaging and informal approach to facilitating the day whilst ensuring a strong focus on making a difference to the objectives that the team is seeking to achieve. The MBTI® is one of the most widely used personality assessments in the world, trusted by organisations of all sizes to improve interpersonal relationships and team dynamics. With over 50 years of research and application, MBTI® provides actionable insights into individual and team behaviours, making it an ideal tool for team development. What do our Team Development Events Include?
Our Team Development Events starts with a consulting call where Rob will explore the background of the team, including its goals, purpose, strengths, opportunities for improvement and existing levels of trust. During the consulting call the core objectives for the development day will be agreed and practical logistics such as options for venue and date will be discussed. Our Team Development Events always focus on Building Trust, we can then offer options around whatever area of focus is most important to the team’s success.
Core – Building Trust Among Team Members
Trust is the cornerstone of effective teamwork. Our sessions help each team member explore their MBTI preferences in order to identify their unique strengths and explore how they contribute to team goals. Through fun, interactive activities and open discussions, team members will learn to recognize and appreciate each other’s unique qualities, building a foundation of trust and respect. This segment focuses on:
- Understanding individual preferences and strengths and how they benefit the team
- Breaking down barriers to foster open, genuine communication
- Developing empathy by learning how different MBTI types approach challenges
Option 1. Improving Communication Skills
Effective communication is essential for a high-performing team. We give each member a better understanding of their own communication style and how it may be perceived by others. By the end of this session, team members will have tools to:
- Identify and adapt to different communication styles for more productive exchanges
- Express ideas clearly and constructively across all personality types
- Listen actively and with empathy to understand the perspectives of others
Option 2. Addressing and Resolving Conflict
Every team faces conflict, but how a team manages it makes all the difference. Using MBTI®, our facilitators provide an understanding of each personality type’s approach to conflict, offering techniques to turn disagreements into opportunities for growth. This session covers:
- Understanding the roots of conflict from a personality perspective
- Learning conflict resolution techniques tailored to different MBTI types
- Building resilience and respect to approach conflicts as a team

How do our Team Development Events work?
Rob will work with you to create a customised experience tailored to the unique needs of your team. The day includes:
- Pre-event MBTI® assessments to establish individual and team profiles
- Interactive workshops filled with engaging exercises and practical applications
- Post-event follow-up to support continued growth and development
We offer both in-person and virtual sessions, ensuring that each team member can participate meaningfully and maximize their experience.
How much are our Team Development Events?
As a small, independent practice, we limit our overheads so that we are able to deliver excellent value for money.
Our core Team Development Event (Half -Day) is £1,500 and £125 per person plus VAT and Expenses
A full Team Development Event (Full day) is £2,250 and £150 per person plus VAT and Expenses
Expenses are estimated at £500 for clients in the UK and Ireland and £750 for clients in Europe.
Fees do not include training venue which can be arranged at an additional cost.
Whilst we strongly recommended face to face events, we can offer virtual sessions, working hard to ensure that each team member can participate meaningfully and maximise their experience.
